Before joining an institute I could not speak English and sometimes I could make easy sentences while speaking English. I didn't know when or where I should use modal auxiliary as well as I didn't know about tenses and their structure. After I joined the institute our teacher has taught us from very basics. "I am a student, and my goal is to speak English confidently and improve my communication skills for my future career. I came to know about this English-speaking class through social media and also from a friend who had already joined this class and shared a positive experience. Before joining this class, I faced many problems in English. I was afraid to speak in English, my grammar was weak, and I had a limited vocabulary. "My name is Swanand Kulkarni from Phursungi. I have been working in corporate for 15 years. I came to know about Ashok sir's class when I inquired on the Just Dial. When I met the Ashok sir for the first time, he asked me to just join the demo class and then decide to join further. Generally when we enquire about any English speaking class they ask you to join immediately by showing various discounts, if not they call you various times. This was not the case with Ashok sir. They completely leave the decision upon us. Being an experienced guy, I was really impressed by their approach and decided to join the class. Since then I find myself much better improved in terms of my English communication. It is not that I was not knowing the things earlier but was not confident. e.g. in our school days, we have been taught about tenses reported speech active and passive voice. But no one checks whether you are able to do the actual implementation while using it. Because of doing so much practice in our batch, I am confident enough about this sentence preparation in terms of any tenses like wise for reported speech and active and passive voice too. We had discussion about communication and presentation skills too in our batch. So many things we tend to forget which I realised after having this learnings will definitely help me to improve as a professional in my career. Storytelling is another part where you have to communicate any story in your own words, it helps to memorize many new words along with using the formation of sentences. I like this session very much.
