IdentityI teach Carnatic vocal music to students of various age groups and skill levels, and I have been doing so for the past 12 years. Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with both beginners and advanced learners, helping them develop a strong foundation as well as refine their musical abilities. My focus is on nurturing each student’s voice while guiding them through the depth and beauty of Carnatic music.
I hold a Master of Performing Arts (MPA) in Carnatic Music, which has given me a strong grounding in both the theoretical and practical aspects of the art form. My formal education, combined with continuous learning and practice, enables me to deliver well-structured and comprehensive lessons to my students.
Over the years, I have actively participated in and attended numerous Carnatic music concerts across Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. These experiences have greatly enriched my understanding of performance techniques, stage presence, and stylistic variations within Carnatic music. I incorporate these practical insights into my teaching so that students are not only technically sound but also performance-ready.
I conduct both online and offline classes, offering flexibility for students to learn according to their convenience. My sessions are designed to be interactive and engaging, ensuring that students remain actively involved in the learning process and feel confident in their progress.
My teaching methodology is structured and practical-oriented, focusing on building strong fundamentals through a step-by-step lesson plan. I emphasize voice culture, raga development, and consistent practice. Regular feedback is an important part of my sessions, as it helps students understand their strengths and areas of improvement.
I also prepare students for certification exams, guiding them through the required syllabus with proper training and practice. My goal is to ensure that students are well-prepared, both technically and mentally, to perform confidently in examinations and stage performances.
I aim to create a positive and disciplined learning environment where students can grow at their own pace while maintaining a deep respect for the art form. My objective is to help students develop not only technical excellence but also a genuine appreciation and passion for Carnatic music.
