Identity
I hold an MBA degree in Finance and HR from Madras University. I have also completed professional degrees in Finance - CWA (Cost and Works Accounting from ICWAI) and Company Secretaryship (from ICSI).
I have worked with Rane (Madras) Limited (a Chennai based critical automobile parts manufacturing company - part of 75 year old Rane Group) as Assistant Manager (Funding and Treasury) for 2.5 years before I moved to Bangalore on account of my marriage. I have also worked with BNP Paribas(Corporate Banking) as Credit Analyst - Trainee
Though a fresher to the teaching society, I have delivered various seminars at college level and have made presentations to varied audience at Company level/Group Level. I have also presented at the Deming Grand Prize(DGP - Japanese Quality Certification for corporates) examination and various other Total Quality Management audits conducted at the group level. (Rane is one among the 7 companies in India to have won the elite DGP/Japanese Quality Medal).
In addition to this, I will bring to the table, my corporate experience by way of live case studies/projects that I have witnessed and the basics of TQM concepts which is very relevant and important to the management studies. Having handled a team and attended various management development program, can add value to the students on soft-skills training and development.
