Overview

Learning the violin is one of the most rewarding things you can do and also one of the most frustrating if you don't have the right guidance. That's exactly what I'm here for.
Whether you're picking up the bow for the very first time, working through ABRSM or Trinity College London grade exams, or an advanced player who's hit a frustrating plateau, lessons here are built around where YOU are, not a rigid one-size-fits-all syllabus. Some students need strict technical structure to thrive. Others need to fall in love with a piece first before anything technical even sticks. Some just want to play their favourite songs and enjoy the process. I figure out which one you are pretty quickly, and we build from there.
I work with all age groups from kids, teenagers to adults picking it up later in life, and everyone in between. There's no age where it's too late to start, and there's no level where there isn't something meaningful left to work on.
My teaching draws from the Suzuki and Eta Cohen methods as a foundation that emphasis a strong ear, solid technique, and keeping the joy of music alive throughout the process. But frameworks are just a starting point. What actually matters is that you're making real, tangible progress and genuinely looking forward to picking up the violin between lessons.
I've been playing and teaching for 12 years, competed internationally, and am currently pursuing FTCL with Trinity College London, so the depth is there whenever you need it. But none of that matters unless you're actually growing as a musician and enjoying the journey, which is what every single lesson is ultimately about.
Based in Ghatkopar West, Mumbai. If that sounds like the kind of learning environment you're looking for, let's talk.

Teaching Experience in detail in Violin Classes

I’ve been playing the violin for over a 12 years now and have spent several years teaching students of all levels. From beginners who are picking up the violin for the very first time to advanced players looking to refine their skills, I enjoy helping every student progress toward their unique goals. For beginners, I often use the Suzuki and Eta Cohen methods because they provide a solid foundation and make learning enjoyable. Along with technical exercises, I like introducing simple yet beautiful pieces early on to keep things fun and rewarding. For intermediate and advanced players, I focus on refining technique, mastering challenging repertoire, and working on musical expression. I’ve also guided students through international music exams like Trinity College London (TCL) and ABRSM, helping them meet the requirements with confidence. I try to keep lessons balanced, technique is important, but I also want my students to enjoy the process of learning music. We can even work on pieces or songs that they’re personally excited about because that’s what music is all about: connecting to something meaningful. Over the years, I’ve worked with students from different backgrounds and levels, and it’s always amazing to see their progress. Whether it’s playing their first notes or performing on stage, every step of their journey makes teaching so fulfilling for me.
