IdentityI am a Ph.D. (Zoology), M.Sc (Zoology, specialization- cell biology) , B.Sc (Gen. Gr 'B') and B.Ed from Delhi University. Currently, I am working as an Assistant professor (Zoology) in a college, affiliated to Mumbai University. My achievements are briefly summarized below:
1- Travel award for poster presentation in 7th International Conference on Stem Cells and Cancer, held in October, 2016 at Goa, India.
2- Qualified GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2010.
3- CIE merit scholarship for 2009-2010.
4- Stood first in the class in examination of B.Sc. (Gen) Gr "B" for academic year 2004-2005, 2006-2007 and combined topper for academic sessions- 2004 to 2007 in Maitreyi College, University of
Delhi.
5- Scholarship for obtaining 80% marks in A.I.S.S.E.
6- Teaching assistant for M.Sc. practicals for 4 years during the Ph.D. tenure.
7- Published a research article titled as 'Characterization of the N- terminally clipped histone H3 (H3) from old chicken and rat liver in International Journal of Clinical and Experimental Pathology'.
8- Published a book chapter titled as ' Attaining epigenetic rejuvenation: Challenges ahead' in Springer.
I sincerely intend to make biology and science a more understandable subject, and simplify and extend it beyond the boundaries of a text book teaching.
