Hello, I am Shiwani S., an educator and trainer passionate about helping students grow academically and creatively. I believe that every learner has unique potential, and with the right guidance and encouragement, they can become the best version of themselves. Teaching allows me to inspire students, build their confidence, and help them develop a deeper understanding of concepts.

I have a strong academic background in engineering. I completed my Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering and later pursued my Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Environmental Engineering from BIT Mesra. At present, I am further advancing my academic journey by pursuing a Ph.D. from the Centre for Climate Change and Water Research, SGVU, Jaipur. My academic experience has strengthened my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, which I bring into my teaching approach.

Along with my academic studies, I have also focused on expanding my knowledge through additional training. I completed a Design Thinking course from Purdue University, USA in 2018, which has helped me develop a creative and innovative mindset while approaching learning and teaching. This training allows me to encourage students to think critically, explore ideas, and approach problems from different perspectives.

I also have significant professional experience in the academic field. I worked as an assistant professor for around 10 years at VTU Karnataka and JNTU Hyderabad, where I taught and mentored students in technical subjects. This experience allowed me to guide many learners through their academic journeys and helped me develop effective teaching methods that focus on clarity, engagement, and practical understanding.

Currently, I am working as an assistant professor at Bangalore City University and teaching classes for BCA students. Apart from this, at home, I take tuition and teach mathematics and science from Class 8 to Class 10. I enjoy working with students from different age groups because it allows me to adapt my teaching style to suit their learning needs. Whether it is technical subjects or creative activities, my aim is always to make learning interesting and meaningful.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong fundamentals while encouraging creativity and curiosity. I believe in explaining concepts in a simple and structured way so that students can easily understand and apply what they learn. I also encourage students to ask questions, participate actively in discussions, and explore their ideas during the learning process.

I conduct regular classes at my home in Kannuru, Bangalore, and create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable and motivated. I am fluent in English and Hindi, which helps me communicate effectively with students from different backgrounds and make them feel confident while learning.

Over the years, I have been fortunate to receive positive feedback and appreciation from students and parents, and currently, I have several reviews on my profile reflecting their trust and satisfaction. My goal as a teacher is not only to help students perform well academically but also to encourage them to become confident, curious, and lifelong learners.
