I have always had a keeness in teaching but destiny had planned otherwise. For 29 years I have been in the corporate world my last assignment being as Director- Brand & Business Development with Regional Institute of Management , Punjab , an Institute consisting of 8 colleges and 2 schools.

I have been principally a Corporate Communication, Brand & Marketing Management person but during these years teaching & training had been an integral part of my portfolio. I enjoyed it then and I still do. I have been a guest lecturer in Engineering Institutes , Colleges and Administrative Staff College of India as well.

It was during my stint at Punjab that I realized that majorly students were week in Communicative English although they might have scored reasonably well in the course they pursued. Hence they were incompetent primarily in their on-campus recruitment and failed to score the job they were targeting.

It was then that I realized that English for Indians still remains to be a second or foreign language , their mother tongue & regional language being their L1 & L2 primarily.

This realization compelled me to study once again, quite late in life though and secure an International Certification from Asian College of Teachers & TESOL Canada .

Although my path towards education started late in life but I have worked in a Montessori and have taught English to children .from age 5-9 years. Currently I have students for English from age 9 to 18 and above. I have enjoyed it.
