Identity
I am Harsha Kumar. A graduate student of IISER PUNE. I have been a KVPY fellow (20111-2016) during my stay at the institute. I have worked at various research labs with state of the art facilities in the country in different fields of biology. Although, I have no prior experience of teaching as a job of lively hood, I have volunteered to teach underprivileged (slums, construction workers and villages) kids math and science in my free time through Disha ; a self funded organisation that aims to improve literacy rates in Maharashtra.
My areas of interest include animal behavior, ecology and evolution. My hobbies including music production, playing the djembe and watching butterflies and nature in general.
