I have several years of focused experience teaching guitar to students of different age groups and skill levels, ranging from complete beginners to intermediate players. My teaching approach is structured yet flexible, allowing me to adapt lessons based on each student’s goals—whether they want to play casually, perform, or pursue formal music training. I specialize in building strong fundamentals. For beginners, I focus on correct posture, hand positioning, basic chords, strumming patterns, and rhythm training. I ensure students develop proper technique early to avoid bad habits. As they progress, I introduce scales, chord progressions, fingerstyle patterns, and music theory in a simple, practical way. For intermediate students, I work on improving timing, improvisation, barre chords, advanced strumming, and genre-specific styles such as acoustic, pop, and light classical. I also help students learn songs of their choice, which keeps them motivated and engaged while applying what they’ve learned. My teaching emphasizes ear training and musical understanding rather than just memorizing chords. I encourage students to listen, identify patterns, and develop their own playing style. I also provide regular practice routines and track progress to ensure consistent improvement. I conduct lessons in a friendly and supportive environment, making sure students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves through music. My goal is not just to teach guitar, but to build confidence, creativity, and a long-term passion for playing.
