Academically a biotechnologist, but at heart a person who loves the environment. I started teaching young minds about 8 years ago. Academically about 6 years ago. I have the innate ability to interact with children and make them feel comfortable with me and my teaching. I love teaching children, specially relating their day to day life with their academics and connect this with what mother nature offers us. Generally, I would like to teach by taking students outside ( more of a show and explain types). In this way, students will grasp concepts better. I always look at " study" as an application oriented process and always interconnect the subjects so that the students understand that what they study is not independent of the other subjects.
I love being outdoors, in the forest or under the trees in the city. It gives a good understanding of how much we are all interconnected with things around us. I have taken a lot of students on field trips after their class room sessions and all of them have been able to perform better in their academics due to this. I believe in following the heart and have always encouraged students to do the same. I have taught biology and simple sketching for younger school students and have allowed them to understand the subjects better through projects and posters along with a walk on the wild side. This allowed them to use their creativity and generate their own ideas and perform better in future.
