She is a multifaceted artiste. She is one of the very few female ghatam artistes in Karnataka at present.

Ghatam & Mridangam: She is the daughter and disciple of legendary mridangam and ghatam artiste Ganakalabhushana Vidwan M.A. Krishnamurthy. She secured 2nd rank in Mridangam Senior exam.

Carnatic Vocal: She has learnt Carnatic vocal under Vid. M S Govindswamy and Vid. P. Neela.

Kathak: She is a disciple of the legendary Kathak artiste Dr. Maya Rao and her sister Dr. Chitra Venugopal. She has a B.A. degree in Kathak & choreography from Dr. Maya Rao’s Natya Institute of Kathak & choreography.

Bharatanatyam: She has learnt Bharatanatyam under Vidwan Mysore Vishnudas.

Professional Career & Work Experience:

❖ She has accompanied stalwarts in the field such as Vid. R S Ramakanth (disciple & son of Dr. R K Srikantan), Vid. Saraswathi Rajagopalan ( veena ), Vid. Ramesh Nath (saxophone artiste & brother of Vid. Kadari Gopalnath), Vid. Puttur Ganesh (saxophone), to name a few.
❖ She has performed extensively in India & abroad. She has performed various prestigious sabhas such as Ananya, BTM Cultural Academy, Ganakala Parishath, Sheshadripuram Rama Seva Samithi, Fort High School etc.

❖ She is part of the reputed instrumental team of famous
saxophone artiste Dr. R. Manjunath.

❖ She has worked as a music and dance teacher in various
schools such as Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bharatiya Vidyabhavan
School, East West Academy, Venkat International School etc. for more than 20 years.
