As forever music students, we all need someone who is patient and kind. Since music is an active and exploratory field that requires performance, whether in front of others or just by yourself with your imaginary friends and appreciators, you always do perform.
And during this process, motivation is the key. Positive reinforcement with genuine feedback, which paves the way for improvement in your skills, is what you need.
I was lucky enough to have them in my Initial days; now I'm just trying to be that someone. Motivation also helps instil a lasting interest in music in students' minds.
When I was giving guitar lessons to my students from all the different age groups- I discovered that some students were more gifted than others; they learn effortlessly.
But through hard work and consistency, even the dullest of them all became the best.
Music is not all about talent. It is more about zeal, dedication, consistency and focus.
I was meant to believe by what I have observed that music is like a mine site and the miners; the more profound the miners go, the possibility it is for them to hit precious stones.
