Ratul Banerjee

I have been working as a software R&D engineer for the past 5 years and have worked with various MNCs like Cisco Systems, Mentor Graphics and Synopsys.

I have also worked as a researcher in separate stints at UPV Valencia, Spain and UGent, Ghent, Belgium.

I completed my Dual Degree in ECE from IIT Kharagpur. My IIT-JEE rank was 638 (year 2007).

I scored 91.8% and 90.8% respectively in my Xth and XIIth CBSE boards in the year 2004 and 2006. I received a merit certificate for being in the top 0.1% of all candidates in Chemistry where I scored an All India Highest score of 99/100 in CBSE XIIth-2006.

I also have experience with the GRE where I have scored 336 out of 400. I had MS admits from universities like CMU, TAMU, UCSD etc., but decided to stay back in India.

I am and always have been passionate about and good at Mathematics and Physics. Regarding Chem., I believe it depends on choosing the right things to study in case of organic and inorganic, whereas physical chem is all about the concepts.

In the first few years of my professional career I focused on growth in the software dev industry. Now, I wish to pursue teaching as a second profession as this is something I was always passionate about but never really find time for, earlier.

This is my first foray into professional teaching. I have had experience with teaching many of my juniors and my sister in the past. I am a responsible and passionate teacher who would put in all efforts to reach out to the student.
