Pallab Chakraborty

My name is pallab chakraborty often known by my stage name is Pol. I picked up guitar at the age of 11 and still continuing. I'm committed to practice atleast five hours a day when i discovered the guitar to be my passion and decided to get that to profession. I however try to get myself in all type of music and genres, I feel blues and progressive rock in my nerves. I started performing live with a local alternative rock band and since then I'm writting songs and playing live gigs. I worked with eight bands till now playing all type of genres all over the country. Currently I'm working for my own personal set up of experimental art rock, I call it ' Monsoon Rains '. Here I aim to create psychedelic rock environment thorough experimental sound. I've I have pursued music diploma from Rock school of London,Guwahati Branch, My guitar playing is strongly influenced by that of Slash, Gary Moore, Jimi Hendrix and John Petrucci. I'm not committed to any particular genres and hence i always prefer to be experimental when it comes to making music.
