I am a freelance percussionist/tutor based out of Bangalore.After completing my diploma in music performance from SAM ,I spent a year with mridangam virtuoso Prapancham Ravindran and learnt the tricks used in konnokol and started implementing it in simpler and fascinating instruments like the slap top cajon, the djembe,ghatam,conga,jawharp etc.I am looking forward to spreading the knowledge i got from my guru in simpler and easier methods.
The plus point that I have over more experienced and respectable tutors is that I can try to understand what the student requires and can vibe with the sort of music they like to play and teach accordingly.Be ready for a"Modern Gurukula experience".
