I am a vastly experienced Carnatic music teacher and I have been teaching carnatic vocal for close to 20 years. I am also a Carnatic vocal faculty at the Indian Heritage Academy at Koramangala, Bangalore for the last 15 years.
Over the years, I have coached students belonging to various age groups comprising of kids, school children, college students, software professionals, housewives etc. at the Academy.
I have also taught at other institutes over the years and have been invited to perform at various arenas over the years.
I adopt a friendly and progressive method of teaching - with emphasis on discussing the nuances of music in order to ensure effective learning.
I also offer vocal classes at my resident apartment building on Bannerghatta road.

I have been attending the classes for the past one year, if you are interested in carnatic and want to learn from "The Basics", then without any second thought you can enroll the classes with mam. She teaches the nuances and also makes sure you learn the theory of them as well, which only very few teachers teach you. Another major advantage is the timings, she is very flexible with the timings and believe me, I have attended classes at 9 PM too.
