Here distance is constant so assume distance= D km and speed = x km/hr actual time taken = D/x case 1. if speed is increased by 10 km/hr then time is 1 hour lesser means D/(x+10) = (D/x )- (60/60)....equation---1 here 1 hour is converted in to minute and again divided by 60 case 2.
