I am currently working as a Grade 3 Class Lead and English teacher, while also serving as the Grade 3 Coordinator. In this role, I am responsible for the academic planning, coordination, and smooth functioning of the Grade 3 cohort. I teach English to approximately 50 students and follow the Lucy Calkins Reading and Writing Workshop methodology, focusing on developing strong readers and writers through structured, student-centered instruction. My responsibilities include teaching reading and writing genres, guiding students through the complete writing process—from planning and drafting to revising, editing, and publishing—and assessing individual student progress through ongoing formative and summative assessments. I ensure alignment with the Cambridge curriculum standards in English and plan comprehensive units in reading, writing, and comprehension using Cambridge Hodder textbooks. As a Grade Coordinator, I also support curriculum alignment across sections, collaborate with teachers, and contribute to maintaining consistency in instructional practices and assessment standards across Grade 3.
