Dr J Fathima Benazir

I am an experienced assistant professor in Molecular Biology at JR Damodaran College in Coimbatore. With over fifteen years of teaching experience and a PhD in Biotechnology, I am also the Co-founder and CSO of Azooka Labs. As a founder and innovator, I have conducted numerous workshops in both academic and industrial settings to promote the field of biotechnology. My efforts have been recognised with several awards, including the Shiksha Rathan Award and the National Startup for Women Lead Entreprise Award. I am also proud to have been granted five patents and published 34 research papers in international peer-reviewed journals.
I am passionate about imparting knowledge to my students. Education is not just about textbooks and exams but about inspiring students to think critically, solve problems, and become lifelong learners. I teach students from the first to tenth grades, as well as those in eleventh and twelfth grade Science, both online and offline.
My classes are interactive, and I use various teaching tools, such as PPTs, videos, and notes, to engage my students. I believe in a hands-on approach to learning, and I organise practical sessions to help students understand complex concepts. In my classes, I encourage students to ask questions and think creatively. I believe that every student has unique strengths and weaknesses, and I strive to tailor my teaching approach to each student's needs. I understand that every student has different learning styles and preferences, and I try to accommodate these differences in my classes.
