I am an experienced teacher and researcher. I have a doctoral degree (2016) in experimental condensed matter physics from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India - which is No. 1 University in India; 29th in Asia and 251 â?? 300th in the World.
I have 17+ years of experience in teaching physics related courses. I have taught different courses starting from general physics to specialized courses like special topics in condensed matter at various levels starting from beginning undergraduates to doctoral students. I have proved myself in this field by helping students to understand the subject and get a good grade. I have a good track record of student feedback. My focus while teaching any course is to make the students understand the concept by taking day-to-day example and anecdotes. Over a period of time students have come back and told me that they have clarity in what I teach them. I was involved in setting up laboratories in general physics, optics and even upgrading labs to research caliber. I have experience in teaching foreign students. Especially the Ethiopian students. I have taught 3 courses including 1 research level course. I had infused in them a fair level of confidence in understanding the subject by reading textbooks and research articles.
