Chunchula Rajesh Babu

Mr. C Rajesh Babu is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, REVA University, Bengaluru, India, and also an IIC Coordinator, Mr. Rajesh Babu worked as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT-CSIR), Hyderabad. (January 2009-May 2011), as an Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department, Vel Tech Technical University, Chennai (June 2011-May 2013), GITAM University, Hyderabad (June 2013-Oct 2015). Mr. Rajesh Babu pursuing his Ph.D. in the area of compound heat transfer enhancement of an Economizer (Waste heat recovery) from Curtin University, East Malaysia (Australian University) Perth, Australia. Mr. Rajesh Babu has been awarded a Curtin University postgraduate research scholarship (CUPRS 2016). He was also awarded the Best Teacher award from the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) & VEL TECH Technical University, Chennai - 2013. Mr. Rajesh Babu Completed his M.Tech degree in Thermal Engineering from JNT University, Hyderabad in the year 2008. B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from SRTM University, Nanded in the year 2006; Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Bapuji Polytechnic, Davangere in the year 2000; He has participated in One Curtin International Postgraduate Conference (OCPC) 2018 at Curtin University, Australia, and One Curtin International Postgraduate Conference (OCPC) 2017 at Curtin University, East Malaysia. He has also participated in the 5th Postgraduate Borneo Research Colloquium 2017 at University Malaysia Sarawak (UMS), East Malaysia, and the 4th Postgraduate Borneo Research Colloquium 2016 at Curtin University, East Malaysia. Mr. Rajesh Babu has 15 years of Teaching and Research experience.

He handled various subjects for B.Tech and M.Tech programs. UG/PG Courses: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD); Electric and Hybrid Vehicles; Engineering Thermodynamics; Heat Transfer; Sustainability and Renewable Energy; Fluid Mechanics; Control Engineering; Engineering Drawing (CAED); Turbo machinery; Automobile Engineering, and IC Engines (ARAI Industry collaborative streams).

He has published in 14 National and international Journals and conferences (Scopus and Peer-reviewed). His research interests include Dual Fuel Technology, Renewable Energy, Experimental and Computational Fluid Dynamics, Wind Turbines, Aerodynamics and Hydro-kinetic Turbines, Turbo machinery, and Heat Transfer Applications. He is a life member of the Society of Automotive Engineers India (SAEINDIA), the Technical Institute for Engineers (TIE), and the IAENG.
