Hi Vinay, My friend moved from Linux admin to Handoop admin role with very good jump in his career. Definitely it is good move to jump to Hadoop from Linux Admin. Linux Admin market is tough as many Guru's are available in the market . Where as HADOOP is still taking baby steps...Good to take fly... ...more
