Work profile

My name is Bithika Haldar. I have been teaching school maths for past 6 years. By qualification I am a BE, and have worked in software companies for 13 years. Presently I work with an organization called Cuemath, where I teach mathematics to school children till garde 9. Apart from that I also conduct personal tuitions. All classes happen online.
I am also proficient in Hindi (studied in Kendriya Vidyalaya where the medium of study was hindi till grade 6). I have conducted Hindi tuitions till grade 6. In hindi I give importance to reading , grammar , sentence formation and spoken hindi.

I am well versed with all the mathematical topics till grade 9. I give utmost importance to building the foundation and the conceptual understanding of the students, there by building their confidence. My style of teaching is to provide hints , methodology and guidance, so that the child goes towards finding the solutions themselves rather than giving away the answers.
Elementary level maths (around grade 4 , 5) is very important , since that’s the time when the concepts are built. If the foundation is strong, then the child automatically does well in the higher-grade maths. And that builds a confidence in solving math problems for the rest of their lives.
