I have been teaching as a volunteer as well as for paid work since many years. It's the common practice of parents to feel that their wards are weak in maths and any allied subject like physics economics etc. However, I have been successful in inculcatinf a love in children for maths which has proved to be a great motivator not only for me but for the student too.
The quest for learning in children begins at an very early stage. A child who is taught to manage his time between his extra activities like music profession sport etc and his academics is always more diligent and disciplined. Success is always on their side.
I do not believe in putting undue pressure on children to get high scores. It's the job of the teacher to motivate and the student to perform to his or her highest potential.
Following this rule , I have had great success wherein children who were unable to grasp the basic concept have gone on to become professionals .
It gives me great pleasure to see my students being successful
I only taj e individual classes as each child has his own style and pace of learning. . A group may hinder a silent child's progress
