Best books for Gate Electrical Engineering?

The best book for any exam is the notes what you (can) prepare. It really doesn't matter which book you have, you read it and try making notes, which makes sense for you. As other also indicated, you make not get it perfect in one shot, but once you get a handle, nothing like that. All the best.

How to analyse capacitor giving AC signal?

Hi, Capacitor passes AC signal and blocks DC signal. Lets assume, we have pure AC signal , Load and Capacitor. If load and capacitor are connected in series, Load will receive the ac signal which is 90 degree phase shifted with respect to source. Hi, Capacitor passes AC signal and blocks DC signal. Lets assume, we have pure AC signal , Load and Capacitor. If load and capacitor are connected in series, Load will receive the ac signal which is 90 degree phase shifted with respect to source. If Load and Capacitor are connected in series, AC signal applied across the same will be bypassed by capacitor and there won't be any signal across the load.
