Teaching math is not providing the right formulae and answers but is creating an awareness about when to apply what. The child needs to understand why a particular reasoning or formula works for one problem but not for another. We need to develop good analytical skills to understand a problem and a mere mastery over language fails to do so. Like any other skill, mathematical skills can also be developed or refined by practice.

It is difficult to keep kids of this age engaged for more than half hr in a online class based on my experience. You may ask for additional worksheets aftre the class which can be done during the day with your help
